The Deuteron Electromagnetic Form Factor
A vector mesonic correction to the deuteron form factors is considered which is analogous to the Glauber double scattering , process D This correction dominates the form factors at large , momentum transfer 0 A fit to the static magnetic moment of the deuteron yields a satisfactory fit to the magnetic scattering at large momentum transfer. متن کاملRelativistic Charge Form Factor of the Deuteron
Relativistic integral representation in terms of experimental neutron– proton scattering phase shifts alone is used to compute the charge form factor of the deuteron GCd(Q ). The results of numerical calculations of |GCd(Q)| are presented in the interval of the four–momentum transfers squared 0 ≤ Q ≤ 35 fm−2. Zero and the prominent secondary maximum in |GCd(Q)| are the direct consequences of th...
متن کاملRelativistic harmonic oscillator model for quark stars
The relativistic harmonic oscillator (RHO) model of hadrons is used to study quark stars. The massradius relationship is obtained and compared with bag model of quark star, using Tolman-OppenheimerVolkoff equation. In this model, the outward degenerate pressure due to discrete Landau levels and Landau degeneracy balances the inward gravitational pressure. Where as in bag model the degenerate pr...
متن کاملA Relativistic Description of the Electromagnetic Form Factor of the Deuteron”
A covariant model of the electromagnetic form factor of the deuteron in the impulse approximation is presented. The treatment includes spin and allows for a complete determination of the two elastic structure functions. Our results are in good agreement with experimental data. Submitted to Phys. Rev. متن کاملPseudospin symmetry and the relativistic harmonic oscillator
A generalized relativistic harmonic oscillator for spin 1/2 particles is studied. The Dirac Hamiltonian contains a scalar S and a vector V quadratic potentials in the radial coordinate, as well as a tensor potential U linear in r. Setting either or both combinations S=S+V and D=V−S to zero, analytical solutions for bound states of the corresponding Dirac equations are found. The eigenenergies a...
